Meet our Teachers
Mrs. Hill2-Day Preschool Teacher and Administrative TeacherI began working at the Co-op in 2013. I am licensed to teach K-12 Special Education and K-8 Regular Education, but preschool is where my heart lies! Teaching the youngest students is a privilege in my eyes, because I have the important role of being their first teacher outside of the home. Helping them learn to transition without anxiety and develop a love for school is an honor. The Co-op was a special place for my own two children, and I am grateful for the chance to make it special for all those who come to play and learn with me. Through play, song, and dance, the Co-op helps children flourish and grow.

Mrs. Neurock3-Day Pre-K TeacherI joined the Brecksville Cooperative Preschool in 2020. I have been teaching preschool since 2011, including 8 years in public schools. I am licensed to teach preschool through third grade, but preschool is my passion. I love watching my students take ownership of their learning, by asking and answering questions. I was drawn to the Co-Op because of their play-based curriculum, which aligns with my own teaching philosophy. Making discoveries in the curious corner, cooking at dramatic play, or building in the block area helps students learn and master content – all while playing! Even though I was new to the Co-Op in 2020 and didn’t have any children old enough to attend, the teachers, assistants, and families welcomed me with open arms. I look forward to teaching your children and building lifelong relationships with your family!

Mrs Adams
5-day Pre-K Teacher
I have a Bachelor of Science in Education and I am licensed in PreK-3. I have 8+ years experience all at the elementary level, and I have since taken some time to raise my four children. They are all of school-age and I am excited to return to the career which I love! My youngest attended a cooperative preschool, and I fell in love with being part of community and involvement between the families and teachers. The early childhood years are magical! I feel blessed to have the honor of watching my students grow and develop both socially and emotionally, and practice these skills with their peers in a play-based educational setting. Thank for sharing your children with me. We are all learning new things every day!
I look forward to working together with you as partners in your child’s growth and development.

Mrs. GianfagnaAssistant 5-Day Pre-K TeacherI graduated from Cleveland State University in 2005 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. I have been working with young children since then and began working at the Co-op in January 2021. I feel privileged to work with the most enthusiastic and creative teachers I have ever met! I enjoy being in a play-based environment where kids can explore and have fun, all while learning! It’s amazing watching them gain independence, build friendships, and sharpen their curiosity every day. One of the best parts of the Co-op is the parent involvement. The kids are so excited when their mom, dad, grandma, or other special grown-up is there to help for the day! I wish I had found the Co-op when my own two children were young! It truly is a wonderful place where I hope to be for a long time!

Mrs. LisowskyAssistant 2-Day Preschool Teacher and Assistant 3-Day Pre-K TeacherI started working as an Assistant Preschool and Pre-K teacher in Nashua, NH in 2007. After moving back to Ohio to be closer to family, I started working at the Co-op in 2020. I have a Masters of Arts in Expressive Therapies from Lesley University. This degree ignited a passion in me to learn and teach through the creative process. I'm excited to help children build their self-esteem, socialization skills, and their foundation in learning through creative self-expression by using art, dance, music, and play. The Co-op teaches children through a hands-on approach of discovery and experimentation. The activities facilitate growth for every ability level and, more importantly, it fosters a positive self-image in each child. I believe that these types of activities promote an interest in learning and lay a foundation for future discovery in school. The Co-op's play-based theory of learning provides an ideal setting for children to develop, grow, and flourish! I am very lucky to work with such a fantastic group of teachers and parents!
